My name is Michael Pettit, I will be graduating in 2026. I attend Lincoln Way West High school, I am currently 6’1″ and am working hard at adding to my 165 Ibs. I am a left handed pitcher. As of October 2023, my fastball is sitting between 83mph-85mph. With a changeup of 69mph-72mph and a curveball of 67mph-70mph.  I am always working on my strength and command for my pitching. I am very fortunate to be asked to join the varsity club at my school where they emphasize how to be an even better leader.  

Furthermore, our Rawlings Tigers travel team out of Chicagoland, played a very competitive schedule this past summer.  I was fortunate to earn lots of innings in key tournaments and big games where I was pleased with the outcome.  Right now, I am undecided on an area of study, but look forward to exploring that in my next two years of HS.  I aspire to improve everyday with my ultimate goal of playing at the highest level possible. My strongest assets are my work ethic and leadership, always lifting up my teammates. I enjoy working out, fishing and passing on my knowledge to youth baseball players as they look up to me.
