My name is Carter Hayes, and I will be a 2025 graduate of Palatine High School in Illinois. As a junior, my PRs are 1:53 in the 800m, 4:17 in the 1600m, and 9:19 in the 3200m With my 800m best coming from diving at the line in the IHSA state meet to get All-State. This final year, my goals include running 9:00 in the 3200m, sub 4:10 in the 1600m, and my biggest goal this next Track season is running 1:50 in the 800m. I will have multiple big shots at this like competing at Indoor Nationals, State and outdoor Nationals.  

As an athlete, I am a hard worker, have great leadership skills, and have a great work ethic. I am always thinking about how I can better myself, whether that is something I can change myself or learn from others around me. Anytime I have a goal in mind I will do everything in my power to achieve that goal.   

I am excited about my final year of high school and ready to push myself through these final couple of seasons in hopes of achieving my goals.
