My name is Cooper Holman.  I am a Class of 2027 Wilmington HS, IL student.  I have an extreme love for baseball and am willing to go to any level of hard work and commitment to compete at the highest level.  I am currently 6’3″ and weigh 205lbs.  I am confident that my commitment to the weightroom will get me to the appropriate weight and help my velocity continue to grow.  I am a competitive three sport athlete playing Varsity Football and Baseball as a Sophomore and also on the Basketball team.  As a RHP, I am working on my 3-4 pitch arsenal.  I work with my Pitching Coach consistently to improve.  While I pride myself on being a leader and a good teammate, I love having the ball in my hand and controlling the game on defense.  I am super excited about both our HS Baseball Season and my new Summer Travel Team, Hitters UDC.  

I feel that my biggest assets are leading by example through outworking everyone else and having a positive attitude.  I try to push myself and my teammates to excel and do what it takes to be successful.  I am extremely competitive in Baseball and my other sports  and consistently demonstrate the will to win.  When it comes to my education and athletics, I am super focused and always strive to improve.  I currently have a 3.5 GPA in our College Bound courses and intend on continuing my efforts in the classroom. 

Finally, my goal is to further my academic and athletic career to be successful and ultimately help my team.  While I am excited about the remainder of my HS career, I feel I will be a excellent additon and outstanding teammate to any college program that will have me.  Thank you for reading my statement.
