My name is Anthony Lusciatti and I will graduate from Lincoln-West High School in New Lenox, Illinois as part of the class of 2026. I am hurdler/middle distance runner with personal best times of 38.36 in the 300m hurdles, and 49.75 in the 400m. I am 6’2, 145 pounds and this allows me to have a long stride that not only helps carry my speed around the track but also helps me glide over hurdles with ease. This past year I was the anchor runner for the indoor and outdoor 4×800 school record breaking team, I was also the third runner of a school record breaking 4×400 team. After suffering a hamstring pull right before the important conference, sectional, and state meets, I was unable to reach my full potential, but that has made me more determined and focused to show my true potential in my upcoming season. During my senior season, my goal is to break 37 in the 300mh and go sub 49 in the 400m. As a student I have a 4.16 cumulative unweighted GPA, have passed 3 AP tests as of now with a 5 on AP Chemistry, and am enrolled in 4 AP classes in my upcoming senior year in addition to dual-credit college writing. I currently have a 30 on the ACT and a 1360 on the SAT and am hoping to improve both scores. 

Ever since I started running on a school team in junior high, I have always been one of the hardest working runners on the team. Along with my work ethic throughout workouts, I always try to connect with my teammates to create a bond that makes us more than just a team. With this bond our track and cross-country teams have grown to be a family and that helps us work harder than most other teams while being able to have fun with each other between reps. When in college, I want my teammates and I to be like a family where we encourage each other to be the best that we can be both on and off the track.
