My name is Colin Horvath, I am a right handed pitcher. I am graduating with the class of 2027 from Joliet West HS in Joliet, IL. I am 6’2, 165 lbs. I have focused all my time in developing as a complete pitcher, both physically and mentally. Baseball has been a huge part of my life since i was a young kid, and over the past couple years my focus has become entirely centered on mastering the art of pitching. While I am on the mound, I hold myself accountable over my overall composure, mental state, and use my knowledge on the standards of becoming successful while performing. I understand that pitching is more than just throwing hard, it is about many skills such as strategy, consistency, and confidence in not only myself, but my team on the field. I have worked hard to improve both my velocity and overall mechanics to allow me to become more successful during every outing that I have. My off season training focuses a lot on strength, arm care, and mobility to help develop and improve my performance during the season. 
 
Academically, I am committed to performing the same in the classroom as I am on the field. My goal is to compete on the college level where I contribute to a winning program, consistently continuing to grow my skill, and represent my school by holding myself and my teammates to a high standard at all times on and off the field.
