My name is Eli North. I am in the class of 2027, and I run cross country and Track at Marquette University High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have personal bests of 4:18 in the 1600m, 9:24 in the 3200m, 1:56 in the 800m, and 15:14 in the 5k. I have earned All State academic honors for cross country all three years of my high school running, and I have earned All State honorable mention honors my Sophomore and Junior year. Outside of my athletic life, I find academics to be extremely important. Currently, I have a 3.80 weighted GPA, and I have scored a 28 on the ACT. I am always excited to learn and always challenging myself to improve. For my Junior track season, I have set goals to run sub 4:10 in the 1600m, 9:15 in the 3200m, and 1:53 in the 800m. 
 
I highly regard being the very best version of myself. While I have always been competitive, I found my passion for running in 7th grade.  From that moment I have worked on relentlessly improving each day, each season, and each year. Recently, not only have I taken great strides in my performance, but also in my role as a leader. As a part of the varsity team since freshman year, as well as being voted captain of the cross country team my Senior year, I have learned how to lead effectively and efficiently. Whether it be on the track, or in the classroom, I am always willing and excited to extend my help to others. Going to an all boys Jesuit school has helped me create close bonds with my teammates. So much so that they have become brothers rather than just my teammates. Throughout my years at Marquette University High School, I have applied my skills into many different clubs and extra curricular activities outside of running. For example I have been a member of Key Club, a service club, as well as the school’s admissions club. Outside of school, I get the opportunity to cantor at Sunday Mass every month. 
 
I look forward to improving on the personal bests that I have posted during my time so far at Marquette University high school.
