Hi! My name is Megan Margolis and I am a 5’10 class of 2022 Setter and Defensive Specialist. I am from Lake Forest, Illinois and go to Lake Forest High School where I have been on the varsity team since freshman year. I play club volleyball at Sky High Volleyball Club and I am on the 17-1’s North Shore team. I began playing volleyball at age 10 and was hooked immediately. By age 12 I knew I wanted to play in college. I love the physical and mental challenges of volleyball, especially as a setter.

One of my strengths is bringing teams closer together, on and off the court. I am a hard worker in the gym as well as in the classroom. I maintain a 4.6/5.0 GPA and I am on the honor roll. My strong academic skills will make me a successful student-athlete and will take me to my long-term goal of getting my Master’s degree in business administration. I participate in clubs at my school such as Women’s Club and Peer Training. In addition, I often volunteer for a charity called Fill a Heart for Kids which helps homeless and foster children in the Chicago area.
