My name is Corinne Pugh; I am a 2024 catcher for the Knights of Kaneland High School located in Maple Park, IL. I am currently 5’4” and weigh 140 pounds. My 20 yard dash is 3 seconds, my vertical jump is 19.8, and my broad jump is 5’10” which I am working on improving all of those numbers this winter. My GPA is a 3.6 and I am hoping to increase that by taking enhanced classes in my upcoming academic years. 

I would love to offer my future team my great leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and most importantly, being a great teammate. I love to have fun playing the game that I have been playing for as long as I can remember. I currently play for the Wasco Diamonds Travel Softball team located in Elburn, IL. This past summer I worked hard on making my way back up to the top of the hitting lineup and out of a bad hitting slump. As a hitter, I am always telling myself to swing at the first strike to get ahead. I would love to offer my future university a  team player and a focused student in a classroom environment. It is very easy for me to work with others. I have never once found it challenging for me to work with someone. I am always staying organized and up to date with all my assignments. 

In college, I would like to study either on becoming a teacher in early education, a nurse practitioner, or work with special education. I understand the crucial importance of who I am on and off the field. I am confident through my hard work and dedication that I can be a successful student athlete and make a positive contribution to any collegiate program. Thank you for your consideration.
