My name is Caleb Levy and I am a 2023 track student-athlete at Warren Township High School in Gurnee, IL. In my first and only year of high school track, I ran a PR of 1:54.37 in the 800 and consistently split 49 seconds in the 4×400. At the 2022 IHSA State Track Meet, I placed 3rd in the 3A 800 and my 4×400 relay team placed 8th. Although I focused on the 800 this season, I definitely plan to up the distance in college. I was able to clock a 1600 PR of 4:30.57 during my early Junior track season, and I know I’m capable of much more. Goals for my senior year include breaking 1:50 in the 800 and going for the IHSA State Title in the 800. I also look forward to my return to cross country, after not racing since middle school. I have full confidence that I will be able to reach these goals, and maybe even surprise myself along the way.

I have been involved with running my entire life and due to injury, the beginning of my high school running career was put on hold. My Junior year allowed for the hard work and growth I have earned to pay off, and I am excited to see what I can bring and achieve in the future. Through my passion for this sport and the potential I know I have, I am continuing to grow as an athlete and person, achieving the most I can both on the course and track. In my future team, I am searching for an environment that will push me to my fullest potential and create a hard working, inspiring, and supportive community. While training, I maintain a weighted 3.2 GPA and want to do my best in the classroom in my future.
