My name is Branden Osorio. I am a student at Hoffman Estates High School (IL) with a 3.5 GPA and will graduate in 2024. I currently play first base and pitcher but can play third base, too. In the 2021 freshman/sophomore season, I batted .520 and only struck out twice. As a sophomore, I started the season opener for the Varsity team and had five shutout innings. My next start consisted of a complete, 16 strikeouts 0BB and ended in a win. One of my goals is to have an exit velocity of 90 and throw over 85 miles per hour.

What I can bring to the team is determination and self-motivation. I continuously try to grow as a player and person. I am a coachable player and alays willing to help my teammates. What I can bring to the university is superior representation of student athletes by respecting all faculty and classmates, and maintaining good grades.
