My name is Brian Hatoum, and I am part of the class of 2025 Cross Country and Track Team at Highland Park High School. As a Junior, I currently hold personal bests of 52.8 in 400 meter(Split), 1:59.62 in the 800 meter, 4:23.17 in the 1600 meter, 9:24.14 in the 3200 meter, and 15:17 for 3 miles in cross country. I also hold 3 sophomore school records, including an indoor 3200 meter of 9:30.66, outdoor 3200 meter of 9:24.14, and outdoor 1600 meter of 4:23.17. Academically, I have a weighted GPA of 2.97. My goals for junior year include: Placing Top 20 at state in cross country to earn All-State, 4:13 in the 1600 meter, and sub 9:10 in the 3200 meter.

As an elementary school kid, I played soccer for 5 years, and ended up doing cross country in 6th grade. I was naturally a fast runner, even running 5:49 for the 1600 as a 6th grader at sectionals. Since then, I have taken a passion for running. During my sophomore year cross country and track seasons, I was voted “most improved” by my teammates for my huge improvement in times from my freshman to sophomore year and the amount of work I put in over the past year. In addition to running, I am a part of the math team at Highland Park.
