My name is Cole Fuller and I am currently a junior at the Latin School of Chicago, and will be part of the graduating class of 2021. I’m focusing on the sprints and hurdles, and hope to continue to do so in college.

With help from three seniors, I went to the 2018 IHSA State Track Meet as a freshman in the 4x400m Relay. During my sophomore year, I scored 22 points in the 2019 Conference meet (2nd Place in 300m Hurdles, 3rd in 110m Hurdles and 4th in both 100m and 200m Dashes). I hoped to break the school record in the 300m Hurdles this year (41.83), but didn’t get the opportunity. I was still a captain during my junior season, and I hope to continue my leadership next year. Hopefully I’ll also run some big PR’s and have a chance to go to the state track meet again. 

I have a 3.70 weighted GPA while taking two honors classes in each of my sophomore and junior years. I have found a strong preference for science-related subjects like Neuroscience, Exercise Science and Medicinal Chemistry, so I hope to find a college with great science programs and a great track program. 

I also play soccer, and have won Second Team All-Conference (2018), Latin Sportsmanship Award (2019) and am one of the captains for the upcoming 2020 high school season. I’ve also played piano since fifth grade and electric guitar since seventh grade, and am very involved on the chess team and club throughout the school year, including going to the 2019 IHSA Chess State Tournament.
