My name is Frank “Frankie” Hummel IV and attend Minooka Community High School,IL in the Class of 2022.  I am currently 6’2” and weigh 180 lbs.   My primary role on the baseball field is a Left-handed pitcher in the starting rotation with a wide variety of pitches. I also play first base and am a strong batter on both my High School and Travel Team – 16U Illinois Dynasty Black. 

Collaborating with my team is a very important component to being successful. It is important to lead your team as a player, but also help and listen to others when they need support.  My ability to stay calm under pressure allows me to not let things get into my head easily. I am confident even when things do not go my way and can be counted on in tough situations.  I consider myself a strong leader both on and off the field.  For the past two years, I have been one of 20 students (class of 750)  selected by the High School staff to be a part of the F.L.I.P and S.L.I.P program (Freshman/Sophomore Leadership Initiative Program). I also spend time volunteering at my church and in the community. 

As I continue to grow both physically (by continuing to work out in the gym to increase my strength and velocity) and mentally, I will strive to take my talent to the next level.
