My name is Grant Miller. I am a class of 2023 cross country and track student-athlete at Hinsdale Central High School in Hinsdale, Illinois. I have current personal bests of 15:30 for three miles in cross country, 4:23.82 in the 1600, 1:56.5 in the 800 (Time Trial), and 50.9 in the 400 (split). I competed at the IHSA 3A state track and field meet this past season in the 4×400 and 4×800 relays, earning All-State honors with second place in both events. I am looking forward to a successful senior year, on and off the track. My goals for my senior seasons are to run under 15:00 in the three-mile, 4:15 in the 1600, 1:55 in the 800, and 50 seconds in the 400. 

Since my freshman year, I have proved to be very dedicated to my team. From becoming a leader and role model to shaving off time on the track, I have shown consistent growth. Alongside competing, I am working to improve my weighted 5.24 GPA on a 5.0 scale. This includes 18 AP and honors classes from my freshman year to senior year. One of the things I am most proud of is the structure I have in my day, especially in the summer. I work two jobs in addition to our rigorous XC summer running and workout schedule that includes weekdays at my local Dairy Queen and weekends at the Oakbrook Polo Club. I enjoy working with others and meeting new people.
