My name is Hannah Falk, 2024 graduate from New Trier HS in Winnetka, IL. I compete in the 3200 and 1600. I’m a hardworking student-athlete taking all Honors/High Honors classes with a 4.71 GPA. I run an 18:50 3 mile, 11:59 3200 and 5:37 mile. This upcoming track season my goals are 11:30 in the 3200 and 5:25 in the mile. I know I can achieve these goals through believing in myself and hard work. 

I come from an athletic family and currently have a brother who is a freshman on the XC team at Duke University. My dad has competed in several road bike races as well as Ironman competitions.  

I started running spring of my freshman year to get better from an Autoimmune Illness I discovered in middle school. Running has changed my life in not only my health, but also helped me find my passion in sports as well as my love for my teammates. I bring an optimistic mindset to my team and truly believe that learning and development comes from not just the races but also experience and shared camaraderie developed during the off-season and practices all year long. I was elected captain of the cross country team in the fall and I look forward to a great season and sharing my passion for running and life with all of my teammates. Outside of school and running, I am passionate about all types of outside activities (in particular road and mountain biking) and am active in numerous school clubs like DECA and Art Club where I am able to use my strength, creativity and curiosity.
