Hello, my name is James Spatzek. I currently attend New Trier High School and will graduate in 2023. I play attacking midfielder, box to box midfielder, and defensive midfielder for Chicago FC United Academy U16. I have been competing at the academy level for five years: four years in the Development Academy, one year in the MLS Next Academy program. I have been called up one U.S. Youth National Team Central Region Camp as well as attending five USYNT Regional Training Centers. I aspire to play at the collegiate level and always push myself to play at the highest level I can.

As a player, I bring creativity, positivity, and intensity to the team. I’m a forward-focused player and make positive passes, dribbles, and runs whenever possible. Similarly, I value my academics just as much as I do soccer. I strive to push myself to do the best I can in my academics and hold myself to high standards.
