My name is Lucy Aronsohn, and I am a junior at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools’ class of 2025. I play as a central attacking midfielder for my high school soccer team in addition to playing for Chicago Fire Youth Soccer Club on the 2006 Premier team in 2022-2023 and for Total Soccer Training (TST) for the upcoming 2023-2024 fall season. For my school team, I was one of only two freshmen to play on varsity in the 2022 season, and I started every game. I was selected to be on the Independent School League All-Conference first team at the end of the season. After my sophomore season, I was again selected to be on the Independent School League All-Conference first team in addition to the IHSSCA All-Sectional Top 10 list. Regarding academics, I have an unweighted 4.0 GPA for both my freshman and sophomore year. 

On the field, I am a team player who communicates consistently throughout games and has good relationships with both my teammates as well as my coaches. Individually, I am a smart,  fast, and technical player while having a strong sense of my surroundings at all times, with or without the ball. Off the field and out of the classroom, I also start for my high school varsity basketball team during the winter season.
