My name is Marta Kogucki and I am a cross country and track and field runner at Lyons Township High School in Illinois. I am a senior and I will be graduating in 2019. As a senior, I individually placed 33rd at the IHSA Cross Country 3A State Meet and as a junior, I individually placed 29th with my team placing 3rd. In the future, as a student, I would like to keep working hard to maintain my good grades and as an athlete, I would love to keep improving my competition skills and drop my time even more.

Sophomore year during track and field, my 4x800m relay team made it to state prelims and this year my 4x800m relay team placed 7th at state. This year I also raced state prelims for the 1600m. I am a very hardworking athlete and I strive to always do my best. In school I am determined to work just as hard; I have received straight A’s all throughout high school and as a junior I took 3 AP classes while as a senior I will take 4 AP classes. Besides participating in sports, I am a founding member of LEO club, a service club, and I am involved in Operation Snowball. I am also bilingual and I have graduated from Jan Brzechwa Polish High School.
