My name is Noelle Hunt. I am a class of 2025 student athlete at Centennial High School in Champaign, Illinois. I am a long jumper, triple jumper, and 400 meter sprinter. This past season I jumped my PR in long jump with 5.63 meters or 18’5.75 feet at Big 12 Conference Championships. I also competed at the Urbana Invitational where I jumped my PR in triple jump with a mark of 11.03 meters. In addition to being personal records, those two marks also broke my school’s record. I qualified for 3A state in long jump both my freshman and sophomore year. Sophomore year, I qualified to finals to ultimately place 11th overall.  I also helped my team qualify a 4×400 relay to state. My goals for the upcoming season are to jump consistently over 19 feet in long jump, 38 feet in triple jump, and sub 59 in the 400. 

I started doing track in 5th grade and have competed in and tried out almost every event. I also have competed at the national level many times. These opportunities have allowed me to have many experiences and lead my teammates throughout the season. My drive to always work hard no matter the conditions have inspired the people around me and overall create a more positive environment to work with and in. Not only do I influence my teammates on the track but also in school. As a 4.4 GPA athlete, I help my teammates with their subjects, time management, study habits, and more. It’s important to me that my teammates and I not only get faster and jump farther but also maintain grades.
