My name is Robert St Clair and I run Cross Country (3 miles) and Track (800m, 1600m, and 3200m) at Mundelein High School (IL). I graduate in the spring of 2019, and I want to be the best I can be. I am aiming to continue to maintain and improve my 4.32/4.00 GPA, and I aim to run under 14:45 by the end of the 2017 cross country season. This spring, I have made it my goal to run under 4:20 in the 1600m and under 9:20 for the 3200m.

Despite all the talk about running, my best trait is not my running ability. My best trait is my will to improve and succeed. I apply this to anything I do: running as well as inside the classroom. My GPA and times can attest to this. I am very interested in mathematics and science as well as exploring exploring classes that are less traditional such as metal smithing, and am currently in several service and leadership clubs, such as the National Honors Society, P.E. Leadership, and our Student Athlete Leadership Team. I plan on joining similar clubs in college if they are available.

I want to be the best I can be. Even before I started running, I knew I wanted to go to college. When I started to run, I wanted to be the best. I thirsted for every new PR. As I grew closer and closer to my high school team, our goals became intertwined. Along with making myself the best I can be, I want to help my teammates do the same. This is my goal for my last few seasons here.
