Hi! I’m Rylee Faehling and I am a part of the graduating class of 2026 at West Bend West High School in Wisconsin. My main events in track and field are sprints, hurdles, and jumps, and I participate in many relays for my team. Individually, my biggest race is the 300 hurdles, with a time of 44.68. I placed fourth in the finals of the Wisconsin State Track meet my sophomore year in this event. Other personal records of mine include the 400 with a time of 59.89 and the 200 with a time of 26.17.  Besides these events, I do long jump and my PR is 16’11. For my junior year, I hope to run a low 43 in 300 hurdles, sub 58 second 400, sub 25 second 200, and run more open individual sprinting events such as the 100/200/400. Academically, I have a 3.8 GPA and plan to major in animal science and become a vet.   

Throughout my life, I’ve participated in many different activities that have shaped me as an athlete and individual. I’ve tried volleyball, soccer, basketball, tennis, golf, skiing, and snowboarding, but I’ve found the most success and love with track and field. It has made a profound impact on my life and given me relationships and achievements I’ve never dreamt of having. While sports play a large role in my life, I also enjoy reading, writing, music, and interior design. I really love volunteering at the humane society and going on summer mission trips with my church. I’m a part of my high school clubs such as The National Honor Society, Student Council, and our local newspaper The Current. These experiences have given me not only a sense of responsibility, but also a love for helping others and taking risks to try new things. Throughout high school, I’ve tried to take as many AP and honors courses as possible. I’m currently enrolled in two my junior year, but I hope to take at least four more my senior year and raise my GPA.  

I’m hoping to continue my track and field career in college and explore what I can accomplish.
