My name is Thomas Shilgalis, I attend Naperville Central High School in Illinois and will graduate in 2019. I run XC and distance in track with a PR of 4:19 in the 1600m, run during my sophomore season. I recently ran 14:27 half way through my XC season and I’m targeting to drop my time below 14:15 before the season ends. I’m currently taking numerous STEM classes in school including AP Physics and plan to major in Engineering in college.

I’m a highly-motivated competitor, always seeking new methods of training, eating habits and race strategy to improve my performance. I have a unique capability to excel in both middle and long distance races. I bring a team oriented attitude and strong commitment to my teammates, coaches and school. I take pride in representing my program, wearing my team colors and having my success associated with the school. I pride myself in balancing my academics, XC and track team with my social life. I have an outgoing, adventurous personality and love to try and discover new activities.
