My name is Tyler DeLuca. I am a right-handed pitcher of the graduating class of 2024 at Minooka Community High School, IL. I am currently 6’3” and weighing 190 lbs. As of midway through my junior year, I am holding a GPA of 4.67 in my AP and college bound classes. My goal of being in the top 3% of the 2024 graduating class is coming true due to hard work in the classroom. I have achieved High Honor Roll every semester of High School currently and intend to continue my academic achievements.  

As an athlete, I continue to gain strength and speed due to my weightroom efforts and pitching lessons as well as my participation in HS Swimming.  I am currently polishing my 3 pitches and have been sitting in the mid-upper 80s this winter.  I intend to touch 90 mph by my Senior Season.  

As a player, I am always positive and push myself and those around me for further success as a team. I have always shown a sort of leadership and driving factor for the team. I also acknowledge that I am a student to the game showing that I am a very coachable player.  I set high expectations for myself which is a key factor for success in all areas of life.  

Lastly, I am a very committed person who doesn’t shy away from a challenge while being a role model for those I am surrounded with. I intend to grow as an athlete, and as a person while using the many tools I have now and gaining new ones along the way.
