My name is Wilson Georges, class of 2022, and I run track and cross country at Limestone Community High School. As a sophomore, I have current personal bests of 15:05 for three miles in cross country, 4:28 for 1600m, 9:49 for 3200m, and 2:05 for 800m. I took 7th place in class 2A cross country for 2019, as well as being a state individual qualifier as a freshman in cross country and the 1600m in track. My immediate goals for 2020 are to run times under 4:20 for 1600m, 9:30 for 3200m, and 1:59 for 800m, as well as win the IHSA Class 2A cross country title as an individual. While my goals for senior year are harder to predict right now, I believe I could get under 4:10 in the 1600m, sub 9 in the 3200m, 1:54 in the 800m, and under 14:15 for XC. Those marks might sound a little ambitious, but I really think that if I continue to work and stay healthy that those are possible! 

Since my freshman year I have been a disciplined athlete, leading the way and encouraging my teammates to work hard in pursuit of our goals. While driven by my personal goals, I highly value the camaraderie that makes a team a family. Working hard as a student is also very important to me, as I have maintained a non weighted GPA of 3.89, while taking multiple honors classes. I am involved in Unified P.E., which focuses on working with fellow students that have special needs. I am a leader in our Fellowship Of Christian Athletes program. I have been certified as a lifeguard, and am planning to work my second summer at the community pool.
